🩸 During this course, the primary focus is PRP facial treatments, however you will also gain an understanding of wider PRP applications, including:

PRP involves taking a small blood sample from the client, centrifuging it to separate the platelet-rich plasma, and then microneedling the plasma back into targeted areas of the skin – typically around the forehead and peri-orbital area.

This is not a beginner course.

You must already be competent in venepuncture and have previously completed a Venepuncture Practices & Techniques (or equivalent) course.

🛠 EQUIPMENT

You’ll have the opportunity to refresh your venepuncture skills using training arms if required, before progressing to:

🧪 Preparing PRP using a centrifuge
💉 Delivering a full PRP facial treatment

Treatments are performed on a classmate or model – you’re welcome to bring a friend or family member who would like to receive a complimentary treatment.

🕘 TIMINGS

📅 This is a 1-day practical course, plus the online element.

🖥️ Pre-course online learning: 3–4 hours

🏫 Face-to-face training day:

  • Starts at 10:00
  • Finishes around 16:30 (depending on group size)

📜 ACCREDITATION

All of our wellness courses are certificated by Doctor Wellness, a leading aesthetic academy. This training is approved by insurance providers to enable you to provide these services commercially. Our courses are CPD certified and internationally recognised.

This course counts as 25 CPD hours.
