Phlebotomy Recruitment

If you entrust your new career to us, our recruitment services are here to make sure there is a job available at the end of your training.

Work Experience & Placements

Our mission is to link training and recruitment together to ensure a seamless pathway into a new career.

This starts by making sure all new phlebotomists obtain real life clinical experience in our network of partner clinics around the country.

Work experience can range from a day of voluntary work under close supervision, to a 6 month placement as a trainee.

Take a look at our Venepuncture Certificate of Competency (CPD) course for more details.

Take a look at the ‘Next Steps’ blog for more details about where you could look for your first clinical placements and gain more experience.

Mobile Phlebotomy

Take a look at the map on the home page to see if we might need phlebotomists in your area.

Bloods & Beyond specialises is mobile phlebotomy, and once a phlebotomist has proven themselves competent in a clinical setting, they can be added to our team to complete one off appointments for labs and clinics.

Mobile phlebotomy is something you can do in your spare time, to supplement your income. Pick and choose your own hours, and earn a nice bit of extra pocket money each month.

As you’ll be working independently, you must have had significant, supervised clinical experience before we can consider you for our mobile network. We’ll also ask you for a DBS check, up to date training records, 2 references and proof of insurance. But we can signpost you towards obtaining anything you don’t already have.

Traditional Recruitment

Of course, there is always more traditional recruitment. As one of the only recruitment agencies that specialise in phlebotomists, and with a large team of mobile phlebotomists ready to go at a moment’s notice, we are the go-to agency for many NHS trusts and private organisations when they have a gap that needs to be filled.

Opening Your Own Clinic

If you would like to open your own Bloods & Beyond clinic to serve your local community, we can help you do this too. We have partnership models available which will fast track you to establishing and operating a successful clinic, with all of our systems and resources at your disposal.

Take a look at the ‘Every Last Drop’ blog for more details about how even a new phlebotomist can start maximising your income from your vein finding skills.

Read our leaflet ‘Start your own clinic’ to learn more about the different partnership models.
