Already mastered the basics? This Advanced Venepuncture Course builds on our CPD Venepuncture Practices & Techniques course — or existing clinical experience — to help you draw blood from more challenging patients and expand your technique toolkit.
You’ll learn:

💉 Syringe method
🧪 Blood cultures
🧲 Using a centrifuge
✋ Hand draws
🦶 Foot draws
You’ll also connect with other phlebotomists to share experiences and refine your technique.

Perfect for those who’ve already completed our CPD Venepuncture course, or for practicing phlebotomists ready to expand their skills with more advanced techniques.

🦋 Butterfly sets and more
It’s a chance to get hands-on with devices you may not have used before.
⏰ TIMINGS
This is a half-day face-to-face course.
There’s lots to pack in, so come ready to focus! The course starts at 09:30, and depending on group size, usually wraps up by 12:30 or 13:00.
It is scheduled in the morning, just before our CPD IV Cannulation course — perfect if you’d like to make a full day of it.
💸 Bundle & Save: Book both the Advanced Venepuncture Techniques and CPD IV Cannulation courses together for £250 (normally £350) — that’s a £100 saving and two CPD certificates in one day!

📜 ACCREDITATION
Our courses, provided by iN phlebotomy training, are CPD certified and internationally recognised.
This course counts as 5 CPD hours.
