Our Paediatric Phlebotomy course gives you the knowledge and confidence to safely and effectively take blood from children and babies. It explores how paediatric phlebotomy differs from adult blood draws — preparing you for the unique legal, physiological, and psychological aspects of working with younger patients.
Covered topics include:

🛠️ Equipment commonly used in paediatric settings
🧪 Typical blood tests for babies and children
This course is delivered entirely online. However, if you’d like to gain practical, hands-on experience with the equipment and practice techniques discussed in the course, you can add an optional half-day face-to-face session. Whichever route you choose, you’ll receive a CPD-certified certificate upon completion.

As this is a self-paced online course, no equipment is required.
However, our optional in-person practical session offers the chance to:

⏰ TIMINGS
This online course takes approximately 3–4 hours to complete at your own pace.
The optional face-to-face session lasts half a day and can be booked alongside your online training.
📜 ACCREDITATION
Our courses, provided by iN phlebotomy training, are CPD certified and internationally recognised.
This course counts as 5 CPD hours.
