Whether you’re working in clinics, hospitals, or the community, this course builds your confidence in delivering safe and effective care to paediatric patients.

🛠 EQUIPMENT

Practice with training arms and vein blocks strapped to a partner – then try on classmates or trainers with our Live Bloods Experience.

We use state-of-the-art QCPR Resuscitation Mannequins to give you real-time feedback on your CPR technique. You’ll also get hands-on with:

🪖 Military-grade first aid equipment you can add to your own kit

Then we’ll move on to Paediatric Phlebotomy, when you will have the opportunity to get hands-on with:

🧫 Capillary tubes
🧬 Guthrie cards
🦋 Butterfly needles

You’ll also practise appropriate patient positioning using mannequins and training arms, and you’ll have the opportunity to perform finger prick techniques on your fellow students for realistic practice.

You can also grab a Phlebotomy Starter Kit at checkout, so you can keep practicing at home and earn your certificate of competency!

⏰ TIMINGS

This is a 2-day course with an online intro that takes 3-4 hours at your own pace.

• Day 1: Focus on practical skills from 09:30 to 16:30/17:00 (depending on group size).

• Live Bloods Experience may add extra time at the end of Day 1.

• Day 2: Continues from 09:30 to 16:30/17:00 (depending on group size).

Usually run over a weekend, but flexible options are available if you want to split it across 2 weekends, or even 2 locations.

You will be able to select your chosen days and locations at the checkout.

📜 ACCREDITATION

Our courses, provided by iN phlebotomy training, are CPD certified and internationally recognised.

You’ll receive three separate accredited certificates. This course counts as 20 CPD hours.
