🚀 COURSE CONTENT
Our Face-to-Face Paediatric Phlebotomy course teaches you best practices and hands-on techniques for taking blood from children and babies. You’ll learn how paediatric blood draws differ from adult phlebotomy — preparing you for both the technical and emotional aspects of working with younger patients.
Covered topics include:

This course includes access to online learning material and a half-day face-to-face session where you’ll have the chance to get hands-on with real equipment and practice techniques in a safe and supportive environment.

You’ll also practise appropriate patient positioning using mannequins and training arms, and you’ll have the opportunity to perform finger prick techniques on your fellow students for realistic practice.

Face-to-face courses are held once every 4 months.

You will be able to choose a date for your face-to-face session before you complete your checkout.
⏰ TIMINGS
This course includes an online section that takes roughly half a day, combined with a half-day face-to-face session.
The face-to-face session is usually scheduled in the afternoon, directly after the CPD Basic Life Support (BLS) for Phlebotomists course in the morning.
🕜 Course starts at 13:30, and depending on group size, typically finishes around 16:30–17:00.

We keep classes small for focused, hands-on support.
👥 Minimum: 2 learners
👥 Maximum: 8 learners
📜 ACCREDITATION
Our courses, provided by iN phlebotomy training, are CPD certified and internationally recognised.
This course counts as 5 CPD hours.

Lunch and drinks provided, and many locations have a kettle and microwave on site.
